Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results; we do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive technical information about the visit:
- Page-view timestamps and time spent on pages

- The referring website, when one is reported
- Your device's assigned IP address

- The pages viewed during the visit
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure how visitors move through the website, including popular pages and common exit points. No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. The site explains how to approach Armstrong County courts, the Sheriff and jail, the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and the PSP Megan's Law Website for records those agencies hold. Government disclosure is governed by sources including the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101 et seq., the Criminal History Record Information Act dissemination rule at 18 Pa.C.S. § 9121, and judiciary public-access policies. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not turned into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern information entered there, and those practices are outside our control. Review the applicable provider policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Armstrong County offices, Pennsylvania court and agency portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow a link, the destination's policy controls the visit. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.

Personal data is not sold. It may, however, be received by:
